Located in the heart of the town, the Buckingham Centre offers a range of public services to local residents, including a customer service centre, a library and adult and family learning. The Centre was opened in 2007 as the result of the commitment of Buckinghamshire County Council and Aylesbury Vale District Council to bring their services together into one easily accessible local building. Not only does this make life easier for residents, but also helps to save money.

• Parking - There is parking available close to the Buckingham Centre at Cornwall's Meadow.
• Access - There is disabled 'Blue Badge' parking directly outside the building.

The centre also has various rooms that can be hired

Customer Service Centre

Tuesday and Thursday: 9.30am - 5pm
Wednesday: 930am - 2pm
Friday: 9.30am - 4.45pm

The Centre is staffed by both Buckinghamshire County Council and Aylesbury Vale District Council, working in partnership to ensure customers' enquiries are dealt with as efficiently as possible. The Centre allows residents to discuss housing or planning issues, see a Registrar, pay their council tax, renew their travel or parking permits and access the full range of local authority services. Our advisers are always happy to offer information and assistance.

Council service representatives, such as Housing Officers, Planning Officers and Registrars, are also on hand at scheduled times. Appointments should be made in advance by contacting us.

Library

Tuesday and Friday: 9.30am - 7.30pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 9.30am - 5pm
Saturday: 9.30am - 1pm

Browse or borrow books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and computer games or surf the internet, check your webmail and view Office documents on our public computers.

There are regular Bounce and Rhyme, storytime and holiday activities for children

Adult Learning

There is an excellent environment for learning in the new Adult Learning Centre, which is funded by the Learning and Skills Council. We offer a wide range of subjects and classes include Creative Arts and Crafts, Psychology, Languages, Literature and Creative Writing, Basic English and Maths, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Computers, British Sign
Language and more…
