Our award winning County Museum is in the attractive old town area of Aylesbury in beautifully restored buildings, some dating from the 15th century. The museum showcases the County's rich heritage alongside a changing programme of exhibitions in the Buckinghamshire Art Gallery and we also have the Roald Dahl Children's gallery.

1 March to 3 November 2008 Monday to Saturday and Bank Holidays  10am-5pm
4 November 2008 to 12 February 2009: Monday to Saturday and Bank Holidays  10am-4pm
Special Sunday opening 22 June and 24 August    1pm-5pm

Christmas Eve after 1pm, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

What a fantastic combination. Quentin Blake's classic illustrations and Roald Dahl's fantastic stories.

Come along to the County Museum in Aylesbury and discover how the famous duo worked together with original artwork and manuscripts and have fun with the fabulous hands on exhibits. A must for all Blake and Dahl fans!

Opening times at the Roald Dahl Children's Gallery are different from the County Museum, please ensure you check before you visit.
