Come to your next Local Area Forum (LAF)
Hear about what is happening in your local area and have your say. The LAF meets up to four times a year and covers matters of interest to local residents such as transport, health, young people, local issues, and policing.
The Localities and Communities Manager for High Wycombe is Madeleine Howe who can be contacted by email at email@example.com.
Help decide how the local budget is spent
Participatory (or community) budgeting gives residents a chance to have their say in how public money is spent in their own communities. They can get more involved, not just by suggesting ideas but in the allocation of a specific budget.
High Wycombe Local Area Forum (LAF) invites organisations who have ideas for projects that will benefit specific communities to submit proposals to them. Local residents then get to choose which projects receive which level of funding.

The Active Bucks project aspires to get everyone to become more active, more often. Funding is being allocated to each LAF to support the development of new activities which residents can participate in their local area e.g. weekly community group walks or yoga sessions.
