Exclusions and reintegration team

We visit parents/carers at home when a child is excluded permanently and offer intervention where a pupil is at risk of permanent exclusion.  Where a parent or professional tells us that a child has no education placement, details will be logged and progress tracked, with intervention and support offered as appropriate.  We offer support to pupils and schools receiving reintegrating pupils.

Advice on procedures in individual cases is also offered to schools, governors and parents/carers.

Information and support for parents and carers

Your child's school should have a written behaviour policy setting out the standards of behaviour expected.  The policy should outline what the school will do if your child's behaviour falls below these standards.
