Walking opportunities in Buckinghamshire are exceptional. Everyone in Buckinghamshire is only a short distance from the countryside. There's plenty to see, visit and enjoy on foot, on horseback or on a bike.

There are over 2,500 miles of public rights of way, including footpaths, bridleways and National Trails in Buckinghamshire. We have 35 promoted routes covering the whole of Buckinghamshire including 3 short and 2 long routes for cyclists and horse riders. Visit our interactive route maps page.

In addition, there are 2 National Trails, various routes promoted by the Chiltern Conservation Board, 2 Country Parks and Open Access Land.
