Simply walk.... your way to feeling good

Walking is a fantastic way to get out and about, meet new people, improve your health and wellbeing and help the environment.

In Buckinghamshire there is lots of stunning countryside waiting to you enjoy. Take your first
step to getting and staying active.

Volunteer led walks run throughout the year with over 500 walkers joining us every week on more than 50 walks across the county. Our volunteer leaders are there to help you walk at your own pace – so don’t worry about getting left behind. 

All new walkers are welcome to the scheme whether you are currently fit and active, or haven’t exercised
in a long time. It couldn’t be easier to get started. No need to book, just choose your walk and, on your first walk arrive 15 minutes early to register with the walk leader.

Funding for Simply Walk

Funding for Simply Walk comes from a number of partners including Buckinghamshire County Council, local district councils and the NHS. However this is insufficient to cover the full costs and isn't guaranteed year after year. We need more funding or we will cease to exist.

From the fabulous feedback we receive from our walkers, we know how much you value Simply Walk. If you feel able, please consider giving a donation.

You can donate online or by sending a cheque.

Cheques should be made payable to Buckinghamshire County Council. On the back of the cheque please write: Simply Walk LPRW 256 Cost Code 932636 and post to Simply Walk Coordinator, Wycombe Area Office, Easton St, High Wycombe HP11 1NH.

All funds will go directly to Simply Walk to help us to maintain the programme.
