Day centres and social clubs

Day centres

After your assessment we may be able to arrange for you to attend a day centre once or twice a week. Day centres play an active role in rehabilitation and skills development, as well as providing a social support network, transport and meals. There is a charge for this service. There are also centres operated by British Red Cross and Age Concern, please contact them direct.

Social clubs

Clubs include lunch clubs, small groups meeting for a game of bingo and a cup of tea and large day centres. Most have a small charge, e.g. for transport or meals. For further information please contact your local Social Care Office.
