Fed up with potholes – we are too!

Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.

However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.

Have your say - it only takes a minute !

Ecodriving Assessments

Transport for Buckinghamshire offers Ecodriving assessments to companies and individuals wishing to learn how to drive in a more environmentally friendly way.

An Ecodriving assessment looks at fuel efficient driving and how changing your driving technique can help you save fuel by at least 10%. As well as making a positive difference to the environment, this can save you money through savings on fuel, tyres and spares, and reduce collisions.

The assessments are delivered by qualified driving instructors who can offer advice to drivers about the changes they should make in the car and on the road to reduce their fuel consumption. Assessments will be in your own vehicle and last approximately one hour. You will be given verbal feedback during the assessment and a report with your fuel saving results on the day.

How to book:

For businesses: if you are interested in having Ecodriving assessments delivered at your company at a subsidised rate, please contact roadsafety@buckscc.gov.uk.
