Permission is needed if you are going to carry out work on the Highway. For example, to trees or repairs to frontages.
If you are unsure if the area you wish to book is private or not, check the list of streets.
If you are booking road space relating to a section 184/278 agreement, you will need to apply for a Development Management road space booking.
Apply for a licence
The cost to apply for a road space depends on when you apply:
- road space booking £160
- retrospective road space booking £320
Please note that your application will not be processed should you fail to submit all required documents.
What happens next
Applications will take approximately 4 weeks to complete, providing all documents are submitted.
