COVID-19 Changes to Bus Services

Due to staff shortages and the reduced demand for services during the ongoing pandemic, some bus companies have advised us that they will be making changes to their timetables as shown below, please click on the bus operator links for full details. Please note the situation is changing quickly so please double check with your bus company before travelling. 

Arriva Buses

All services revised please see above link for details and times.

Beaconsfield Community Bus

The Beaconsfield Community Bus service is withdrawn until further notice.

Carousel Buses

All services revised please see above link for the latest details.

First Buses

From Monday 23 March all services in Buckinghamshire will operate to their Saturday timetables on weekdays. 

From Sunday 29 March all services in Buckinghamshire will operate to their Sunday timetables 7 days a week, except service 12/13 which will be withdrawn until further notice.

Langston & Tasker

From Monday 30 March route 18 between Buckingham and Bicester will operate a revised timetable 

Red Eagle

Revised timetables for routes 61 and 354.

Redline Buses

Revised timetables in operation on routes 2, 4, 6/6A, 11, 13, 14, 110, 164, 320, 321, 335, WP1. Please see link above for the latest timetables.

Red Rose Travel 

Revised timetables for routes SR1, 7, 10, 16, 60, 71, 78, 100, 275. Please see link above.

Risborough Area Community Bus

All services are suspended until further notice.

Stagecoach

Revised X5 timetable from Monday 30th March. Please see link above.

Star Travel

Services 3, 5A and 174 withdrawn until further notice. The daytime route 5 service is also withdrawn, but the journeys between 7pm and 11pm, will continue to operate. Bus service 162 operating as normal timetable.

Thames Valley Buses/Courtney Buses

Minor timetable change to 459 service. 0838 from Heathrow will not run.

Winslow and District Community Bus

All services are suspended with immediate effect until at least the end of May.
This impacts the following routes: 54A,B,C, 67, 67a and 68, & WBOC.

Z & S Transport

No reported changes.

Concessionary Bus Passes:

In order to allow older and more vulnerable passengers to access early opening times at shops and other essential services we have asked all bus companies to allow holders of concessionary bus passes free travel at any time.

This will be in place on all local bus services in Buckinghamshire until further notice.

Real Time Passenger Information

Due to short notice timetable changes caused by the COVID-19 crisis the Real Time Passenger Information will not be available to view on screens, apps or nextbuses.mobi from Monday 23 March 2020. This will be restored once the new data is available.

Bus Diversions

Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield, Monday 24 February to Sunday 3 May, 9.20am to 3pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire footway works Maxwell Road will be closed during this period. Stops on Maxwell Road will not be served. All services will divert between these times and passengers are advised of the following:

  • Services 102 & 104 as well as Maxwell Road these routes will not serve stops on Aylesbury End, Station Road and Amersham Road. Please use the stops on Wycombe End, London End and London Road instead.
  • Services 103 and 580 will divert via Ledborough Lane, please use the stops on Station Road instead.
  • Service 377 will turn round at Aylesbury End/London End roundabout and will not serve the stop on London End or on Amersham Road.
  • Passengers for the Beaconsfield Community bus can use the stops on Station Road.

School Lane, Seer Green, Wednesday 18 to Tuesday 31 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire repairs this road will be closed at these times. As such service 580 buses will not serve the stops on School Lane, Chalfont Road and New Barn Lane will not be served. The nearest served stops will be the 'Railway Station' stops on Longbottom Lane and the 'Twitchells Lane' stops on Three Households.

Station Road, Quainton, Monday 23 to Tuesday 31 March. Due to works by UKPN this road will be closed. Bus route 16 will divert via the Unnamed Road, just past Crossroads Farm, and will enter Quainton via Lee Road and Lower Street. Stops between Lower Street and the Quainton Road will not be served. Nearest available stops are on The Green or Lower Road.

Park Road, Chesham, Friday 27 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to repairs by Transport for Buckinghamshire this road will be closed between these times and the two stops along here will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the Broadway stops instead.

Bridgeway, Cuddington, Saturday 28 March. Due to to works on behalf of Thames Water the 110 bus will divert on this day. Passengers are advised that the following places will not be served:

  • Chearsley Village
  • The 'Green' stop in Cuddington, please use the stop on Dadbrook instead.
  • The Chearsley Road stops in Long Crendon, please use the stops on Bicester Road or Chilton Road instead.

School Road, Tylers Green, Friday 27 March to Wednesday 1 April, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to urgent Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road is closed and stops on New Road, Church Road and School Road will not be served during these times.

Bus Stop Suspensions 

Addison Road, Steeple Claydon, Tuesday 18 February to Friday 26 June. Due to development works the stops near the junction of Vicarage Road will be suspended during this period. Passengers are advised to use the temporary stops, provided away from the works, instead.

Collinswood Road, Farnham Common, Monday 23 to Friday 27 March. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach the two 'Harehatch Lane' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the 'Yew Tree PH' stops instead.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common, Wednesday 25 to Tuesday 31 March. Due to Thames Water works the 'Royal Oak PH' stop for journeys towards Slough will be suspended on these dates. Passengers are advised to use the 'Templewood Lane' or 'Hedgerley Corner' stops instead.

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe, Wednesday 25 to Monday 30 March, 7pm to 6am. Due to Thames Water works both 'Riverside' stops will be suspended on these nights. Passengers are advised to use the Bus Station instead. 

Greenway, Chesham, Sunday 29 March, 8am to 4pm. Due to work on behalf of BT Openreach the stop opposite 'Hope Church' will be suspended during this period. Passengers are advised to use the 'Windsor Road' stop further along Upper Belmont Road instead.

Deanway/Three Households, Chalfont St Giles, Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 March. Due to Affinity Water works both 'Narcot Lane' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use either the stops further along Deanway or Three Households instead.

Desborough Avenue, High Wycombe, Monday 30 March to Wednesday 1 April. Due to works on behalf of Cadent Gas the two 'Plumer Road' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the 'Wendover Arms PH' stop instead.

The Pastures, High Wycombe, Monday 30 March to Wednesday 1 April. Due to Thames Water works the 'Pastures Church' stop for journeys towards High Wycombe will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the next stop along The Pastures.

Mandeville Road, Aylesbury, Monday 30 March, 10am to 12 noon. Due to works in the vicinity the 'Stadium Approach' stop for journeys from the town centre will be suspended during these hours. Passengers are advised to use the stop opposite Harvey Road instead.

A41, Westcott, Monday 30 March to Friday 8 May. Due to works to construct a roundabout both 'Westcott Turn' bus stops will be suspended during this period.

Marlow Road, High Wycombe, Tuesday 31 March, 7.30pm to 5am. Due to Thames Water works the two 'Marlow Road' stops either side of Cressex Road will be suspended on this night. Passengers are advised to use the 'Rupert Drive' stops on Desborough Avenue instead.

Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville, Wednesday 1 to Friday 3 April. Due to Thames Water works the two 'Bell PH' bus stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the 'Bull PH' stops instead.

Amersham Road, High Wycombe, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Due to works in the vicinity both 'Amersham Hill Drive' stops will be suspended between these times. Passengers are advised to use the 'Maybrook Gardens' stops instead.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal, Thursday 2 and Friday 3 April. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach both 'Farnham Park Lane' will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the 'Fairfield Lane' stops instead.

Amersham Road, High Wycombe, Saturday 4 April, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Thames Water works the 'Maybrook Gardens' stop for journeys from High Wycombe will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the 'Amersham Hill Drive' stop instead.
