Planned Disruption:

Friday 14 to Sunday 23 June 2019

Bus Diversions

Chairborough Road/Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe, Monday 10 to Friday 14 June. Due to Thames Water works part of Chairborough Road will be closed on these days and bus route 33 will need to divert. After serving the 'Jolly Bodger' stop the buses will divert via Chiltern Avenue and Rutland Avenue and will not serve the 'Methodist Church' or 'Laburnum Road' stops on Rutland will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the 'Jolly Bodger' or a temporary stop on Rutland Avenue, located after the junction with Chiltern Avenue..

High Street, Cheddington, Tuesday 11 to Friday 21 June, 7.30am to 4.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the 164 bus service will need to divert via Ivinghoe at these times and will not serve the stop on Cheddington High Street. Passengers are advised to use the stops on The Green instead. Please note journey time will take longer due to this diversion.

Portway Road, Twyford, Thursday 13 to Wednesday 19 June (excluding weekends), 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works bus routes 16 and 18 will need to divert via Charndon  and will not be able to serve Twyford or Poundon during these times.

Windmill Road and Fulmer Road, Fulmer, Saturday 22 June, 11am to 6.30pm. Due to Fulmer Village Fete part of these roads will be closed on this day. Bus route 104 will need to divert via Fulmer Drive and Stoke Common Road, as such the 'Oldhouse Farm', 'Old Post Office' and 'Black Horse PH' stops wiill not be served. The nearest alternative stops are further along Windmill Road or the stops on Fulmer Road near the junction of Fulmer Drive.

Bus Stop Suspensions.

The Broadway, Amersham, Tuesday 11 to Monday 17 June. Due to Affinity Water works stop A towards Amersham on the Hill will be suspended on these days passengers are advised to use the stop on Station Road or for route 335 on Gore Hill instead.

White Lion Road, Amersham, Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 June, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to BT Openreach works the 'Pineapple PH' stop towards Amersham town centre will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use either the 'Village Hall' or 'Chiltern Heights' stops both located on White Lion Road.

Main Road, Grendon Underwood, Wednesday 12 to Tuesday 18 June. Due to Thames Water works both 'Rumptons Paddock' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the 'Combined School' stops instead.

Link Road, Great Missenden, Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June. Due to Affinity Water works the stop opposite the Library will be suspended on this day. Passengers are advised to use the stop on Aylesbury Road for route 55 or the Railway Station stop for bus route 177.

Amersham Road, High Wycombe, Saturday 15 June, 9.30am to 3pm. Due to BT Openreach works both 'Grammar School' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use alternative stops on Amersham Road. For route 31 please use the stops on Arnison Avenue.

West Street, Marlow, Saturday 15 June. Due to Thames Water works the 'Spinfield Lane' stop towards High Wycombe will be suspended on this day. Passengers are advised to use the stop on Oxford Road instead.

Bookerhill Road, High Wycombe, Monday 17 June. Due to Thames Water works the 'Mentmore Road' stop for passengers travelling away from High Wycombe will be suspended on this day. Passengers are advised to use alternative stops on Bookerhill Road either at 'Roundwood Road' or the 'Field Road' junctions.

Chinnor Road, Chinnor, Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 June. Due to Thames Water works both 'Beechgrove Farm' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to wait where safe outside the traffic management and hail clearly for the bus driver to stop.

Ibstone Road, Ibstone, Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 June. Due to Thames Water works both 'Fox PH' stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the 'Grey's Lane' or 'Commonhill Wood' stops instead.

Buckingham Road, Edgcott, Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 June. Due to Thames Water works both 'Village Hall' stops will be suspended. Passengers are advised to wait where safe and hail clearly for the bus.

New Street, Aylesbury, Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 June. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach the New Street stop will be suspended. A temporary stop will be provided further up New Street, passengers are advised to wait here and hail clearly for buses to stop.

West Street, Marlow, Thursday 20 June, 7pm to 6am. Due to works on behalf of Thames Water the 'Spinfield Lane' stop towards Henley will be suspended on this night. The nearest alternative stops are the 'Spittal Street' stop on Chapel Street or the 'Spinfield Lane' stop on Henley Road.

Most bus companies will run their Sunday timetables on the following bank holidays in 2019.
Most bus services which do not have a Sunday timetable will not operate. Please check Traveline or with your bus company prior to travelling.
