4. When Can I Use My Bus Pass?

COVID-19 - extended travel times

Please note normal travel time limits will be reinstated from Monday 15 June.

In order to allow older and more vulnerable passengers to access early opening times at shops and other essential services we have asked all bus companies to allow holders of concessionary bus passes free travel at any time.

This will be in place on all local bus services in Buckinghamshire from Monday 23rd March 2020 until further notice.

 

Using your pass

Your bus pass can be used at the times below:

  • anywhere in England from 9.30am to 11.00pm Monday to Friday
  • anywhere in Buckinghamshire from 9am to 11.59pm Monday to Friday
  • anywhere in England all day at weekends & Public Holidays

Please be aware that for your pass will only be valid from 9am to 9.30am and from 11.01pm to 11.59pm if your journey starts in Buckinghamshire.

In addition if your pass has been issued as a result of a visual impairment you may use your pass anywhere in Buckinghamshire at any time. Your pass will require the following symbol on it:
