Bounce & Rhyme and Storytime volunteer
Nursery rhymes and stories are not only great fun, but also important to the language development of babies and young children.
As a Bounce and Rhyme volunteer you would lead small groups of parents in singing well known rhymes with actions (twinkle, twinkle little star...)
As a storytime volunteer you will offer short story sessions in the library, reading picture books to groups of pre-school children, helping to bring the magic of stories to life.
All you really need for either role is enthusiasm, full training will be given.
