Buckinghamshire Libraries Mobile Library Service Consultation Decision

Following a public consultation which took place between 1 November 2017 and 31 December 2017, a decision has been made to discontinue Buckinghamshire's Mobile Library Service on Friday 1 June 2018.

Therefore the Mobile Library Service last day of operation will be:

All events take place on Floor 1 and all free to all. Tea will be served from 11am - 2pm. More information

STORYTIME ~ Listen to an amazing story read by our very special storytellers.
11 -11.15am | Suitable for all children 

FANCY DRESS PARADE ~ We are inviting children aged 4 to 11yrs to dress up as their favourite book character.
11.30 -11.45am 

Join the Mayor of High Wycombe as we cut our very special birthday cake, provided by the Friends of High Wycombe Library. Tea and cake will be served throughout the afternoon. Fancy Dress competition to be judged by the Mayor.
12 – 2pm

STORYTIME ~ Another chance to catch our amazing storytellers.
12.30 - 1pm | Suitable for all children

Visitor Information ServiceThe High Wycombe Visitor Information Service is located in High Wycombe Library and is operated by Buckinghamshire Libraries in partnership with Wycombe District Council


Register a birth or a death at High Wycombe Registration Office located in High Wycombe Library. You may also get married at the library - plan a wedding in The Dashwood Room, The Library, High Wycombe

Safe Place Scheme

Safe Place logoHigh Wycombe Library is a Safe Place where you can go to get help if you feel unsafe or at risk when you are out and about.

We will help you contact your support worker, family member, carer or the police. You will know it has a Safe Place as it will have a sticker in the window.
