Aylesbury Library and Aylesbury Study Centre will be combining to provide a new, better library service for Aylesbury.

As part of our commitment to involve our customers in the design of the new library, the library service organised six open days and a customer survey during August and September.

The survey received an encouraging 756 responses and having carefully worked through each response please find the final evaluation of your comments and an assessment of layout options below:

Buckinghamshire Libraries Mobile Library Service Consultation Decision

Following a public consultation which took place between 1 November 2017 and 31 December 2017, a decision has been made to discontinue Buckinghamshire's Mobile Library Service on Friday 1 June 2018.

Therefore the Mobile Library Service last day of operation will be:

Thursday 31 May 2018

Safe Place Scheme


Safe Place logoAylesbury Library is a Safe Place where you can go to get help if you feel unsafe or at risk when you are out and about.

We will help you contact your support worker, family member, carer or the police. You will know it has a Safe Place as it will have a sticker in the window.
