Buckinghamshire Libraries Mobile Library Service Consultation Decision

Following a public consultation which took place between 1 November 2017 and 31 December 2017, a decision has been made to discontinue Buckinghamshire's Mobile Library Service on Friday 1 June 2018.

Therefore the Mobile Library Service last day of operation will be:

Thursday 31 May 2018

eAudiobooks

You can listen to audiobooks on your MP3 player, desktop, laptop or mobile device using Borrowbox or Overdrive for free with your Buckinghamshire library card and PIN

A full library member may:

  • borrow up to 5 items at a time
  • borrow audiobooks for up to 21 days
  • listen to an audiobook on your computer or download to your device via the app
  • transfer a title to an MP3 player or to an iPod using iTunes

Your loans automatically expire at the end of the lending period so there are no late fees

If you have forgotten your library card PIN, you can reset your PIN using your email address or ask in a library.

Love listening to audiobooks? There is now a simpler way to check out your favourite books from the comfort of your home.

Note: Any eBooks and audiobooks that you borrow through the OverDrive app (or your library's OverDrive website) will show up in Libby.

 

If you are not happy using Libby then you may continue to use the OverDrive app which is currently available for iPhone®, iPad®, Android, Chromebook, Windows Phone, Windows 8 & 10, Kindle Fire HD, Windows desktop, Mac desktop
