Minerals and waste local plan
The Planning Inspectorate appointed Stephen Normington to undertake an independent examination into the soundness of Buckinghamshire County Council's Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
The inspector considered the soundness of the submitted plan based on the criteria set out in paragraph 182 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) (March 2012).
The inspector also took into account the representations submitted on the plan at proposed submission stage and the discussions that took place during the hearing session.
On 5 June 2019 the Inspector issued the final report into the local plan, including the necessary modification to make the plan sound.
It is now the responsibility of the council to consider the proposed modifications and proceed to the adoption of the Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
It will be considered by cabinet at its meeting on 8 July 2019 and then go to full council at its meeting on 25 July 2019 to agree adoption.
