The Buckinghamshire 2021 Secondary Selection Tests are currently scheduled to take place on Tuesday 8 September (practice test) and Thursday 10 September (selection test). At the current time schools are closed and it is not known when they will re-open.

An update will be provided closer to the time if any changes need to be made to dates or other aspects of the testing arrangements. Details of any changes will be published on The Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools’ website

Children who attend out of county schools

Children from out of county schools will take the Practice and Secondary Transfer Tests usually at one of the Buckinghamshire grammar schools, on the following dates:

'Identification and Fit for Testing' form for out of county children

If your child is taking the tests at a grammar school we will send you an 'Identification and Fit for Testing' form with your testing invitation. You must fill in this form and bring it to the Secondary Transfer Testing session at the grammar school on 10 September. Without this form we will not be able to test your child. This form is to enable you to confirm that your child is well on the test date. Attach a photograph of your child to the form so we can check their identity too.

If your child goes to a Buckinghamshire LA or Partner School you do not need to fill in this form. Your child's identity is confirmed by the school.

Children living abroad

If you are currently living abroad we will not test your child until they return to the UK.
