Out of county schools
Children from out of county schools will take the practice and Secondary Transfer Tests at a Buckinghamshire grammar school between 27 and 30 October.
Your child will be tested on either:
- Tuesday 27 October 2020 - Practice Test
- Thursday 29 October 2020 - Secondary Transfer Test
- Wednesday 28 October 2020 - Practice Test
- Friday 30 October 2020 - Secondary Transfer Test
We will email you on 24 September by 5pm, to confirm the dates, times and school where the tests will take place.
You are not able to choose the dates on which your child will be tested.
If you booked a family holiday before 17 June 2020, you need to supply evidence to show that the booking was made before this date, we will then be able to test your child later. Send evidence of booking immediately through our Contact Us form
'Identification and Fit for Testing' form for out of county children
If your child is taking the tests at a grammar school we will send you an 'Identification and Fit for Testing' form with your testing invitation.
You must fill in this form and bring it to the Secondary Transfer Testing session, without this form we will not be able to test your child.
This form is to enable you to confirm that your child is well on the test date. You should attach a photograph of your child to the form so we can check their identity too.
If your child goes to a Buckinghamshire local authority or Partner School, you do not need to fill in this form as your child's identity is confirmed by the school.
Children living abroad
If you are currently living abroad we will not test your child until they return to the UK.
