Please bear with us at this time as we are processing a large number of applications make sure you have checked the timeline to see when you will be notified of the outcome of your application,

There is no guarantee that your preferred school will be able to offer your child a place.

Step 1: who you apply to

The in-year application checker will let you know who you need to apply to.

Step 2: Ensure that you have your evidence

You will need to upload address evidence with your application . You cannot submit your application without it. You will need to submit a scan or photo of a utility bill dated within the last three months, showing usage.

Step 3: Applying to the Admissions and Transport Team

If your child is currently attending in a Buckinghamshire local authority school,  an independent school, out of county school, or is educated at home, please complete the online application form.

Once you have submitted your application you will receive an acknowledgment email that will confirm that we have your application.

Step 4 We will write to you

Your application will be processed, and we will write to you depending on when we have received your application

Applications received between 20 April and 31 May will be processed by 21 July 2020

Applications received between 1 June and 21 July  will be processed by the end of August/start of school September 2020, but this may not always be possible.

Applications received after 21 July will not be processed until after the start of school in September 2020

Due to the impact of the Coronavirus we may experience some delays with processing applications.
For most secondary schools and a number of primary schools decisions on the offer of a school place is made directly by the school not the local authority.  If school staff are not available to make these decisions then your application could be delayed  if this applies to your application, we will write to you.
