Buckinghamshire Archives is closed today

We hold the archives and local studies library for the historic county of Buckinghamshire.

We are currently closed to the public. View our service update for information about when we will reopen

 

Our services

We provide:

  • microfilmed parish registers
  • local newspapers
  • computers for Ancestry, FreeBMD and other library services
  • archives including parish records, wills, and historic maps

Please bring proof of identity with your name, address and signature or show a County Archives Readers Network card.

A day pass for the use of a digital camera and digital copies from our microfilm readers and book scanner is charged at £7.50.

If you need digital copies from the microfilms or from the book scanner please bring a USB drive.
