The Shadow Executive county council nominees

As part of the process to create the new unitary council, a Shadow Executive of 17 county and district elected members will be formed to oversee the move to the new Buckinghamshire Council.

This group will consist of eight district councillors nominated by the District Councils, eight county councillors nominated by the County Council plus the Leader of the County Council as the chair of this group. 

The members of the Shadow Authority nominated from the county council are listed below: 

 

Cllr Bill Chapple OBE

Bill Chapple OBE

 

Bill is the county councillor for Aston Clinton & Bierton, as well as an Aylesbury Vale District Councillor. He is the Cabinet Member for Planning and Environment, and also sits on the Buckinghamshire Historic Environment Forum (Chairman),the Buckinghamshire Local Access Forum, Greater Aylesbury Local Area Forum and the Wendover Local Area Forum.

Cllr John Chilver

John Chilver

John is the county councillor for Winslow, and is also an Aylesbury Vale district councillor. He is the Cabinet Member for Resources at Buckinghamshire County Council and is also a member of the Buckingham Local Area Forum, the Pension Fund Committee (Chairman)
and the Winslow & District Local Area Forum (Chairman).

 

Cllr Anita Cranmer

Abita Cranmer

Anita is the county councillor for Beaconsfield, and is the Deputy Cabinet Member for Education & Skills. She is also the vice-chairman of the Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee. She also sits on the Beaconsfield Forum, the BMKFA Overview & Audit Committee (Vice-Chairman), Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority and the Development Control Committee.

 

Cllr Clive Harriss

Clive Harriss

Clive is the county councillor for Bernwood and is also a Wycombe district councillor. Clive is the Deputy Cabinet Member for Planning & Environment, and also sits on the Buckinghamshire Historic Environment Forum, the Buckinghamshire Local Access Forum, the Haddenham & Long Crendon Local Community Area Forum (Chairman), the North West Chilterns Local Area Forum and the Pension Fund Committee.

 

Cllr David Martin

David Martin

David is the county councillor for Chalfont St Peter, he sits on the Budget Scrutiny Select Committee Inquiry, the Finance, Performance and Resources Select Committee, the Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee, the Pension Fund Committee (Vice-Chairman), the Regulatory and Audit Committee (Chairman) and the The Chalfonts Local Area Forum.

 

Cllr Mark Shaw

Mark Shaw

Mark is the county councillor for Chesham, and is also a Chiltern and South Bucks district councillor. Mark is the Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member for Transportation, and also sits on the Buckinghamshire Local Transport Body (Chairman), the Cabinet, the Chesham and Chiltern Villages Local Area Forum, the Senior Appointments and Bucks Pay Award Committee.

 

Cllr Martin Tett

Martin Tett

Martin is the leader of Buckinghamshire County Council, and is the elected councillor for Little Chalfont & Amersham Common. He also sits on the Amersham Local Area Forum, the Buckinghamshire Local Transport Body, the Health and Wellbeing Board (Chairman), the Senior Appointments and Bucks Pay Award Committee (Chairman) and The Chalfonts Local Area Forum.

Warren is the county councillor for Buckingham East, and is also an Aylesbury Vale district councillor. He is the Cabinet Member for Children's Services and the Lead Member for Children's Services. He also sits on the Buckingham Local Area Forum (Chairman), the Cabinet, the Health and Wellbeing Board, the Senior Appointments and Bucks Pay Award Committee.

 

Cllr Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams

Gareth is the county councillor for Amersham & Chesham Bois, and is the Deputy Cabinet Member for Children's Services. He also sits on the Amersham Local Area Forum (Chairman) and the Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee.
