1.Trade Union Facilities Time for Services

Buckinghamshire County Council recognises AEP, UNISON and Prospect. There are a total of 14 Trade Union Representatives, 13 UNISON representatives and 1 AEP Representative. Prospect have no local representative. Only 1 Representative (UNISON) spends more than 50% of their time on trade union duties.

2.Trade Union Facilities Time for Education

With regard to Union facilities relating to Teachers, Buckinghamshire County Council recognises NEU (an amalgamation of NUT and ATL which currently each have their own operational divisions within NEU), NASUWT, ASCL and NAHT. There are a total of 5 County Secretaries (one for each of the unions) and local representatives across the county. Only the representative for the NAHT is employed by Buckinghamshire County Council. There are also 2 UNISON representatives employed by the Council within the Education Sector. None of these Representatives spends more than 50% of their time on trade union duties.
