Safer Buckinghamshire Plan
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and amendments to the act, brings together organisations to form Community Safety Partnerships. The Act imposes a statutory duty on local authorities and the police to work closely together to:
- Reduce crime
- Reduce anti-social behaviour
- Reduce the fear of crime
Our priorities are identified through the annual partnership Strategic Assessment which contains analysis of the levels and patterns of crime and disorder and substance misuse for a year.
The statutory requirement for the annual Community Safety Agreement is delivered as a countywide plan.
