The John Hampden Room
Buckinghamshire Register Office is on the ground floor of County Hall in Walton Street, in the heart of Aylesbury.
The John Hampden Room is pleasantly decorated, air conditioned and holds a maximum of 50 people . Please note that this number includes the couple and the two Registrars and cannot be exceeded due to fire regulations.
We are able to offer free Wifi access. On arrival, please locate BCC-Guest and sign in or set up a new account. Please note, you will need to provide your own device to access the Wifi.
Confetti can be thrown outside the building.
The couple and guests can be dropped off outside County Hall, which has a ramp for wheelchair access. There are plenty of public car parks available close by.
When to arrive
We are happy to make arrangements for couples who do not wish to see each other before the ceremony. The partner arriving first needs to be here 20 minutes before the ceremony start time and they will wait in the ceremony room. The partner arriving second needs to be here 10 minutes before the ceremony start time and will enter the room at the start of the ceremony.
Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.
