Early Help consultation call-in rejected by select committee

Following today's (2 February 2018) decision by the Children's Social Care Select Committee to reject the Early Help Consultation call-in Warren Whyte, Cabinet Member for Children's Services, said: "It is important for us to remember why we are doing this - we need to help children and families earlier to stop them from needing our services when things have become too difficult to manage. I’m confident that we can make some real positive changes for families in Buckinghamshire and am keen to begin having more local conversations about how we can use our children’s centre buildings for children and families in the future."
