Two jailed for roofing scams
Roofing workers' £100 quote for repairs to an elderly vulnerable Buckinghamshire resident's flat roof, progressively rose to a staggering £35,000 as they found more work to do. But the repairs were not needed, and on Friday (July 7) the rogue roofers' tale unfolded before Mr Recorder J Boothby at Aylesbury Crown Court.
