They may just be setting out on their journeys into the world of work but already these Buckinghamshire County Council apprentices are shining bright and yesterday their efforts and achievements were recognised in a celebration event at County Hall.
The successful cycleway along the A413 Buckingham Road will soon reach the town centre. Plans have been drawn up to extend into Buckingham the shared footway and cycleway, linking Winslow with the outskirts of the town.
Over last 24 hours Transport for Buckinghamshire has spread approximately 850 tonnes of salt over 7,000 km of road, through five gritting runs and continuous 'snow route' (that's all A and B roads) treatment in the south of the county.
