Plans by Buckinghamshire County Council to replace a broken footbridge on a Thames-side public footpath at Fawley this month (June) have been rescheduled for August because of events around the Henley Regatta.
Ten voluntary organisations from across Buckinghamshire have been honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS), the highest accolade a voluntary group in the UK can achieve. This year marks the highest number of winners in the county since the awards were first introduced in 2002.
