Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) takes place between 13-19th May and is hosted by the Mental Health Foundation. This year's theme is "body image" which focuses on how we think and feel about our bodies. This is an issue that can affect us at any age. Read more about how body image is linked to our mental health on the Mental Health Foundation website.

Buckinghamshire Libraries offer a range of books and activities tailored to helping improve mental health. We have self-help books which are full of strategies to help you cope. Take a look at our Reading Well for Mental Health collection and our Reading Well for Young People collection

Time to Change is a growing movement of people changing how we all think and act about mental health problems.
