Find out how you could make the most of the internet - Try 1Thing!

Whether you’re brand-new to the internet, or you just want a bit of help doing more online, Get Online Week is here to help you take your next step. Get Online Week 2018 runs from October 15 - October 21, and will see thousands of community events help people make the most of the internet. Come and see how it feels when you Try 1 Thing online - use the internet to do just one thing you’d normally do in a shop or bank, in a doctor’s or chemist, or even over the phone.

Are you interested in helping people to get online? Do you have time to volunteer in a library?

You don't have to be a digital expert, patience and a general knowledge of the internet are all that is required and full training will be given. Using the Learn My Way platform you would be helping people to gain the digital skills to send their first email through 1 to 1 tuition.
