You can use a micro:bit for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments or to keep cool with a fan! The possibilities are endless.

What is a micro:bit?

A micro:bit is a pocket-sized codeable computer with motion detection, a built-in compass and Bluetooth technology which is designed to inspire digital creativity and develop a new generation of coders.

How do I get hold of one?

The Micro:bits can be borrowed free for 3 weeks and can be connected to a PC or laptop via the USB lead supplied in the pack. Coding is done online supported by the website www.microbit.org which has fun ideas for beginners through to projects for making robots!
