Open Day: Judges Lodgings, Aylesbury

To mark Buckinghamshire Day, we will be opening the doors to the historic Judges' Lodgings on Sunday 28th July. 

Visit us for:

  • guided tours of historic building and interiors with county archivist
  • an exhibition of rarely-seen documents charting the county's history
  • tea and cake which will be served all day


Entry and tours

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 3pm. 

Entry to the event is free, visitors can make donations to the Chairman's chosen charity if they wish.

The tours need to be booked in advance and take around 45 minutes. They start at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2pm.



Where to find us

The entrance to Judges Lodgings is through the new Exchange Square, opposite the Rococo Lounge, and is accessible for wheelchair users.

The nearest parking is Walton Street car park, which is pay and display on Sundays.
