The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) outlines the methods we will use to consult and involve the wider community in the production of the Minerals and Waste Local Development Framework and major minerals and waste planning applications.
Statement of Community Involvement - now adopted
The Public Examination into the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) was held in July 2007. After minor amendments, as recommended by the Inspector, the County Council agreed to adopt the SCI on 27 September 2007.
The adopted SCI draft can be viewed by writing the link below, together with the Inspector's report and other background material in developing the SCI.
