How do I get involved?

Our adopted Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how members of the public and other organisations can become involved with us, in the preparation of the Minerals and Waste Local Development Framework (MWLDF) and Development Control (planning applications and other matters).

How we publicise consultations:

• We'll contact Government departments/agencies, District, Parish and Town Councils/Meetings; adjoining County/Unitary, District, Parish, Town Councils/Meetings and other amenity/interest groups,
• Newspaper adverts
• Published on this website

During the later planning stages of each DPD additional consultation methods may include:
• Exhibitions
• Newsletters
• Workshops
• Meetings

Policy reference documents are made available at:
• District and County Council Offices
• All Buckinghamshire County Libraries

How to have your say?

By completing a response form either electronically or as hard copy from this website or the reference point locations listed above.

These consultation processes comply with the Town and County Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 and (Amendment) Regulations 2008.

At each stage of our emerging Minerals and Waste Plans we will carry out a minimum six week consultation for people and organisations to express their views on the plan.

Future consultations

The next consultation will be on the Minerals & Waste Core Strategy DPD (Regulation 27) Submission Draft - September 2011

You can access a timetable for the production of all the development plan documents in the Buckinghamshire Minerals & Waste Local Development Scheme 2011-2014.
