Webcams initiative under consideration

We are looking into installing webcams at each of our ten Household Waste and Recycling Centres (HWRC's), which would give up-to-date, live traffic queue information at the sites.

If successful, we hope that to allow residents the ability to access the webcams via our website, which will allow you to view the sites before leaving home, helping you avoid peak time queues.

At present we experience the following busy periods at most of our sites:

• Weekends between 10.30am-12noon and 2.30pm-4.30pm
• Week days before 8.30 am and during the "school run"
• Most Bank Holidays
