Community leadership

We believe that effective community leadership helps to enhance the quality of life of individuals and communities, boosts the local economy, improves the environment and contributes to the wider regional and national goals. However working in a three tier shire county environment poses particular challenges for a county council to demonstrate its community leadership prowess. Effective partnerships, community engagement and the ability and willingness to respond to local priorities are therefore critical components.
