AIMS - a new e-magazine for families
Buckinghamshire Family Information Service (BFIS) provides confidential, impartial and up to date advice and information on a wide range of issues to support every member of the family.

New parents

Registering a birth - everything you need to know about registering the birth of your baby.
Naming ceremonies - ceremonies celebrating the birth of a child or to welcome an adopted child or stepchild into the family.

Education

Early years - information on activities and services for children 0-14 years and up to 16 if they have special needs.
Schools - quality education to all.
Post 16 student support - helping students to stay on at school to continue their studies.
Looked after children - making sure children in public care have all the support they need to do well at school.
Term dates and holidays - school dates for the year ahead.

Children

Child protection - taking care of children at risk.
Disabilities - supporting sick and disabled children
