Make a positive difference to a child in Buckinghamshire

Fostering enables a child or young person needing care to be looked after in a safe family environment while they are unable to live at home with their own family. 

Fostering can be extremely rewarding. You do not need to have any formal qualifications but it does require skill, commitment, patience and a sense of humour as it can also be quite challenging.

Carers who can provide a nurturing and supportive environment are needed from a wide range of backgrounds and life experience. We welcome applications from men and women, regardless of age, marital status, race, religion, disability or sexuality.

Foster Carers receive professional support, ongoing training and an allowance to cover the needs of the child or young person in their care.
