Help in an emergency - out of hours

We can respond to emergency social work referrals out of office hours that cannot wait until the next working day. This could include:

• mental health problems
• older people at risk
• concerns about a person with a disability, vision or hearing impairment
• family problems
• difficulties with, and worries about children/teenagers
• children or vulnerable adults in custody for whom an appropriate adult is required

We'll give you information and advice over the phone. If we think you need more help we'll come to you.
