Welfare benefits
In 2009-10 we helped local people get over £4million in extra benefits. When you fill in a financial assessment form, the care manager and a welfare benefits advisor will check to make sure you have claimed all the benefits you are entitled to.
If you qualify for help from us, you may also be entitled to Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance. These benefits are to help you pay for the support you need.
If you think you may be missing out on income please contact us. We can offer advice and help you complete forms. You can also get more information on benefits from Department for Work and Pensions and Jobcentre Plus.
