Support we offer
Hays recruitment
We have agreed with Hays Recruitment that each year, they will advertise 20 job vacancies within the voluntary and community sector in Buckinghamshire free of charge. This gives the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) access to Hays extensive recruitment market. The Priory Centre in Wycombe, on behalf of Community Impact Bucks is managing this process and allocating the 20 slots. For more information on this, please contact vicki@communityimpactbucks.org.uk.
Training
Does your organisation need staff training in social care related topics (for example - dementia awareness, safeguarding adults awareness, challenging behaviour, falls & fracture prevention) or does it need support with training around human resources management (eg supervision & appraisal; managing absence, grievance & harassment, employment law update)? If so, we can support you by providing access to a variety of training courses aimed at supporting the care sector in Buckinghamshire.
For details of the training courses or to find out more about NVQ in care funding, please refer to the Log on to care website or contact Laura Maddison (Private & Voluntary Sector Training Administrator) on 01296 382205 or Jackie Ashford (External Funding Administrator) on 01296 382047.
E-learning hub
A number of licences are available to VCS organisations to access the new E-Learning Hub. There are over 50 different courses available on a wide range of topics including management development, social care and induction.
Each course lasts between 20 and 90 minutes. Once you have completed your course you will be able to print off a certificate for your Personal Development Plan.
A list of courses is available at the bottom of the page. Please contact us at vcs@buckscc.gov.uk for further information.
