Feedback and complaints
We want to hear your views about our services, good or bad. What you tell us helps us improve services and plan for the future.
You can use our online form to make a complaint, compliment or to raise a concern.
We manage complaints in 2 stages:
Within 10 days, we will let you know that we have received your complaint. We will then investigate your complaint, we may need to contact you for further information.
Next, within 28 days, we will send you a response to your complaint. If we are not able to do this, we will let you know.
If you are not happy with the outcome after Stage 1, you can ask for an independent review of your complaint.
Still not happy?
If you are still not happy, you can ask the Local Government Ombudsman to look at the problem. This service is free and totally independent of Buckinghamshire County Council.
The Ombudsman will not normally investigate your complaint until you have gone through our Feedback and Complaints procedure:

Regarding a County Councillor
Complaints about a County Councillor, who you believe may have breached the Code of Conduct, please read these notes and use the online form provided.
Freedom of information, data protection
If you have a complaint about our response to a Freedom of Information, Data Protection or Environmental Information Regulations request, use the online form. These complaints go straight to Stage 2 of the process and are subject to an internal review.
If your complaint is about:
Council Policy, school appeals, Penalty Charge Notice appeals (parking services), insurance claims etc
