Service Standards

for users of our web site

Spacer These service standards relate only to the work of the Web Team that maintains the web site.  It does not refer to other Council Services and nor does it imply that similar standards of service can be expected from other parts of the Council or other organisations working in partnership with the Council.  Please see other parts of the site for service standards of other Council services, e.g. our Complaints System.
Standards of Service ~ General
All users of our web site will be dealt with fairly, courteously and without discrimination.
We shall strive to make our web site as accessible as possible to all our users.
Email messages, including those from the feedback form, will be responded to before the end of the next working day.
If we are unable to make a full response by the end of the next working we will advise you of this fact and tell you what we are doing to remedy the situation.
Letters regarding the web site will receive full replies within ten working days.
Letters or emails which comment upon matters not within the remit of the Web Manager or Web Master will be forwarded to the appropriate person or organisation.  You will be advised of this by the end of the working day after contacting us.
