Recommendation

That the Cabinet Member agrees the admission arrangements for consultation with admission authorities and (where appropriate) parents in January and February 2010. These arrangements shall include:

1.         The coordinated schemes for primary and secondary admissions in Buckinghamshire, from September 2011 and in year admissions scheme from September 2010 as set out in Appendices A – C.

2.         The proposed admission rules for community and voluntary-controlled primary schools as set out in Appendix D including:

·                     The admission arrangements for schools and linked primary school arrangements

·                     The admission arrangements for nursery classes and schools and a summary of their locations

·                     The proposed admission number for each school, as set out in Appendix D, Section 3.

3.         At their meeting of 14 December in the light of the Independent Admissions Review, Cabinet has already considered the secondary admission rules for September 2011, and determined that there should be no change. The rules are included in this document for completeness: The proposed admission rules for community and voluntary-controlled secondary schools including proposed admission numbers for each school (Appendix E, Section 2) and sixth forms (Appendix E, Section 3).

4.                  The proposed relevant area for school admission arrangements from September 2012, as set out in Appendix F.

Recommendation

That the Gypsy and Traveller transit site situated adjacent to the A355 between Amersham and Beaconsfield known as Whites Hill be formally closed.
