What stages are we working on?

Currently we are working on the following stages:

• Minerals and Waste Core Strategy (MWCS) Development Plan Document – Submission draft.

To complete this work we have been doing background studies which will form part of the evidence base. These reports will be published on the website at the same time as the MWCS submission draft.

• Rail site search
• Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA)
• Sustainability Appraisal (SA) / Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)
• Transport Assessments (TAs)
• Waste Capacity Studies

What stages have we already completed?

The latest completed plan stages are:

• Local Development Scheme (MWLDS) 2011
• Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) 2009/10
• Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) : Adopted September 2007
• Preferred Options Waste Development Plan Document (WDPD)
• Preferred Options Minerals Development Plan Document (MDPD)
• Preferred Options Minerals and Waste Core Strategy Development Plan Document (MWCS)
