Young Driver

Think - Road Safety

Over 1000 young lives are lost each year on UK roads.

Among young people road crashes are by far the most common cause of accidental death. A 17-year-old male driver is seven times more likely be involved in a road collision than any other group.

New drivers are most likely to have a crash within the first two years after passing the driving test. Novice drivers form just seven per cent of the driving population but have 12 per cent of injury collisions.

We offer advice and information on learning to drive, from choosing an Instructor to advanced driving courses and we offer Get in Gear scheme.  We can provide resources such as lesson plans and presentations. Contact road safety for more information.
