Travel Choice Representatives

The Travel Choice Representative scheme is being piloted in a number of secondary schools across Buckinghamshire.  It builds on the success of the Junior Road Safety Officer scheme that has run since 2003.

Travel Choice Reps are recruited from the enthusiastic pool of Junior Road Safety Officers as they leave their primary schools.  They are responsible for keeping their fellow students informed about road safety and sustainable transport issues.  They help their school to become more environmentally friendly by producing bulletins and newsletters and promoting relevant local and national initiatives.
