Wing and Ivinghoe
The Wing & Ivinghoe Local Community Area has a population of almost 20,000 comprising of sixteen parishes. The two main centres within the area are Wing and Stewkley, although the key urban areas of Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Tring and Dunstable provide important services. The key routes in the community area are the A4146, providing a link between Milton Keynes and Hemel Hempstead (via Leighton Buzzard) and the A418, linking Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. The B488 and B489 also intersect through the area, providing access to both the A41and A4146.

Transport Matters event
This event gave the public the opportunity to make comments on the AAP and transport in the local area. The main issues raised are as follows:
- Timetabling of buses is not always the most convenient for shoppers and commuters
- Concern over speed limits and speeding vehicles on rural roads and near schools
- Environmental concerns regarding the movement of HGVs
These comments and concerns have been passed on to the relevant teams within the Transportation Service, These teams will take the comments into consideration and take action where appropriate.
