The Ivers

The Ivers Local Community Area has a population of almost 12,500 comprising the two parishes of Iver and Wexham.  The key settlements within the area are Iver and Iver Heath although Uxbridge, Slough and Gerrards Cross also provide important services.  The A412 and A4007 are key routes for the community linking it with Slough and Uxbridge. The M25 is also an important route linking the area with Rickmansworth and Watford.

Transport Matters Event

This event gave the public the opportunity to make comments on the AAP and transport in the local area. The main issues raised are as follows:

• Safety and environmental concerns regarding movement of HGVs in the area
• The need for coordination between local authorities regarding bus routing and services
• The condition and maintenance of the roads 

These comments and concerns have been passed on to the relevant teams within the Transportation Service, These teams will take the comments into consideration and take action where appropriate.
