Haddenham

The Haddenham Local Community Area has a population of over 16,000 comprising fifteen parishes: Aston Sandford, Boarstall, Brill, Chearsley, Chilton, Cuddington, Dinton-with-Ford and Upton, Haddenham, Ickford, Kingsey, Long Crendon, Oakley, Shabbington, Stone with Bishopstone and Hartwell, and Worminghall.  The two main centres within the area are Haddenham and Long Crendon although Thame, Oxford and Aylesbury also provide important services.  The A418 passes through the Local Community Area linking Aylesbury with Thame and Oxford.

Transport Matters event

This event gave the public the opportunity to make comments on the AAP and transport in the local area. The main issues raised are as follows:

  • The need to develop cycle routes within the area
  • On-street parking is causing congestion
  • Speeding traffic

These comments and concerns have been passed on to the relevant teams within the Transportation Service, These teams will take the comments into consideration and take action where appropriate.
